Impact of Drug-Gene Interactions on Patients' Outcome

Drug–drug interactions (DDIs) are a well-known cause of drug-related problems (DRPs),
but two other newly described types of interactions are also involved in DRPs: Drug–gene
and drug–drug–gene interactions. Both are considered to have a significant impact on
patients’ wellbeing and treatment outcome.
